Elle Media is a full-service web design company specializing in standards-compliant, accessible websites. But we don't just design websites that follow the rules. We also design websites that look good, too.
So what is this standards compliant thing and why should I care?
As the web has evolved, so has the language we use to build our sites. With so many programs out there that will do a lot of the building for us, there are just as many different ways of doing things.
This is why the World Wide Web Consortium was created. If all web designers agree on and use one standard code, websites will look and work the same no matter which browser you're using, and will be available on the web for longer.
And accessibility? What does that mean?
Not all users look at your website the same. By ensuring your website is accessible, each user will be able to experience your site the way you want them to, and you won't be limiting any of your audience.
