Once we receive your questionnaire, we will be able to provide a final quote on the cost of your project as well as a projected start and completion date.

Please note that the final quote is an estimate based on how long we expect this project to complete and what will be involved in the project. If, during the design process, the scope changes, extra services are requested, or your needs were underestimated in the questionnaire, we reserve the right to bill you for any extra time or effort incurred over the initial quote. We will notify you should the project move out of scope and advise you of how this will affect your final bill prior to commencing work.

We require 50% of the initial quote prior to commencing your project. The remaining 50% is payable prior to delivery, however, you will have the opportunity to view your completed website on our test servers to make sure it looks and functions the way you want it to. Payment is in $US, unless otherwise agreed upon. PayPal is our preferred method of payment, however, should you wish to pay by cheque or money order, we may be able to make arrangements.

Projects will be completed in the order in which they are received. We will accept rush orders, however, there will be a 25% price increase.

Please note that there are no refunds on our services. If you terminate the project prior to the completion of the final mockup, we will not refund the 50% deposit already received. Should you terminate the project after the final mockup has been completed, you will be billed for the remaining fees.

We will provide up to 2 full mockups of your project and you will be able to make up to 4 minor revisions to the final mockup. Please be sure to provide all of your required revisions and changes prior to the final mockup so that the design will be completed to your satisfaction.

We will test your website in the most recent releases of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera for Mac and Windows where possible. We cannot guarantee that your site will be fully functional in older versions or versions still in beta.

Once the design is complete, we can provide your project in a .zip file so that you can upload it to your site yourself, or, if you provide us with your username, passwords, and FTP locations, we can install the site for you.

Once your website has been installed, we will make minor tweaks to the site to make sure everything is in working order, however, should you wish to change the imagery or layout, this will entail creating a new project. We are not responsible for any changes you make to the site after installation.

Should you wish to make updates to your website, we offer an update service. These will be billed at our hourly rate of $75.

Elle Media requires that placement of our logo or text link on your site must remain for as long as you use the design.

Elle Media will not save or make a backup of your existing website or blog template prior to or after installing your new website. We suggest backing up your website to your computer or a CD before we commence work.

Elle Media will not save or make a backup of the project we create for you. Once it is installed, we suggest making a backup to your computer or a CD. Should anything happen to your project after completion and installation, we will not be responsible for restoring it. We will be available for repairs or recreation at our hourly rate.

Once your project has been installed and completed, you assume all responsibility. We are available for updates on an as-needed basis at our hourly rate.

All designs created by Elle Media are created exclusively for the client who commissioned them and may not be used by anyone else. These designs may not be republished for any other purpose or resold to any other person. Rights to graphics, source code, or layout remain the property of their respective owners.

Elle Media reserves the right to display graphics or any other web design element from any design we have created as examples of our work anywhere on the Internet or in print.
